What changed and when
Entries move between states. When one moves it is recorded here with the date and the reason. Nothing is edited silently, and a rumour that turns out to be correct is still logged as a rumour that was correct — not promoted retroactively into a source.
Every page on this site carries the date its claims were last checked. This page carries the other half of that promise: what actually changed on those dates, in a list that is added to and never rewritten.

Every substantive change, dated
-
Published
First publication
The site goes live: eight sections, the fact base, the grading model and the plain-text mirrors. Every claim published on day one carries a grade and a source, and the sixteen questions with no reliable answer are published as unknowns rather than held back. This register starts here — nothing before this date is recorded, because nothing before this date was public.
-
Published
The method section, stated in the open
How a claim is graded, the order sources are believed in, and what happens when this site is wrong — published as pages rather than left implicit, so that the rules can be held against the pages that follow them.
-
Regraded
A third delay into 2027 recorded as debunked, not merely unsupported
Widely repeated through mid-2026 and contradicted by first-party material that has been reaffirmed since, most recently in Take-Two’s own quarterly reporting. It is kept on the site, struck through, rather than deleted.
Will it be delayed again Claim third-delay-to-2027-rumour
Each date is its own anchor, so a change can be linked to directly. The entry is the most recent.
02Vocabulary
The five kinds, and what each one asserts
Published
New material, live for the first time.
Revised
Existing material substantially rewritten or restructured.
Regraded
A claim moved between confidence grades, with the material that moved it.
Correction
This site was wrong. The original stays visible and the correction is dated.
Withdrawn
A claim removed because its origin could not be traced on re-checking.
03Our errors
Corrections this site has issued
None yet. That is a statement about the age of the site rather than about its accuracy: it went live on 22 August 2026, and a correction register that has been open for a matter of days and is empty is exactly what one would expect. It stays here regardless, because a correction register created on the day it is first needed is a register nobody believes.
When there is one, it will say what was wrong, what it now says, and what caused the error — in the same weight as everything else on the site, not in a footnote. The rule it will follow is on the corrections page: the original claim stays visible, keeps its anchor, and is struck through rather than deleted.
04Carried
Corrections to the record this site is carrying
Separately from our own errors, the site carries 4 claims that were widely repeated and are contradicted by first-party material. They are kept visible rather than removed, which is the same principle applied to somebody else's mistake: a reader arriving from an old link needs to find the correction where the error was.
- Disproved
Claims in mid-2026 that the game would slip again into 2027 have no first-party backing.
Circulated by YouTube and social-media "insiders". Contradicted by Take-Two reaffirming 19 November 2026 on 21 May 2026 and again on 7 August 2026.
- Disproved
Claims that GTA VI is confirmed for Switch 2 are false.
Contradicted by Rockstar's own platform list, which names only PS5 and Xbox Series X|S.
- Disproved
Claims that the boxed edition includes a playable disc are wrong.
Contradicted by Rockstar's own product description. Recorded because retailer listings early on implied a disc.
- Disproved
Claims that an online mode ships alongside the game on 19 November 2026 are unsupported.
Contradicted by first-party product descriptions that name only a single-player experience.
Each one is set out beside the material that contradicted it on the debunked page. The fact base as a whole currently stands at 86 confirmed, 16 rumoured, 4 debunked and 15 recorded as not known.
05Scope
What is not on this page
This register is about the site. It does not record what happened to the game — that is the subject of the site rather than a change to it, and it has its own dated, sourced list published as the updates feed, newest first, with the attribution each entry was recorded from.
It also does not record typographical fixes, styling, or anything that leaves the meaning of a page unchanged. A changelog that logs every comma is a changelog nobody reads, and the entries that matter get buried in it. The test applied is simple: could somebody who quoted this page last week now be quoting something that says something different? If so, it is recorded here.
