But it says “captured in-game”?
That is where the pixels came from. Not who was driving.
It establishes that the engine renders what you saw on retail hardware, and establishes nothing about what you can do with it. No heads-up display, no control prompts, no menu and no mission structure has appeared in any of it.

What kind of game is it sold as?
A single-player experience. On every first-party surface.
The storefront listing, the pre-order materials and Rockstar’s own blog post all use the phrase. Consistent enough that a launch-day online mode is contradicted by it rather than merely unannounced — the argument is on the online page.

What is known about how it controls?
DualSense haptics, adaptive triggers, 3D audio, SSD load times.
The only first-party technical detail published so far, and it is about the controller rather than about the game. Nothing has been said about a frame rate, a resolution or a performance mode.

Nothing has been shown being played. A cinematic frame showing a character doing something is evidence about a cutscene, not about a verb the player is given, and the distance between those two is the distance between this page and the feature lists it competes with.
Character switching between Jason and Lucia sits inside the same blank: it is assumed by analogy with GTA V and has never been described. How long any of it takes is on how long the game is.
The pre-order announcement is the fullest description of this product anybody has published, and it names two editions, two prices, a bonus pack and a free month of GTA+. It says nothing at all about spending money inside the game.
Take-Two has said that support for the existing GTA Online continues after this game ships. It has said nothing about what, if anything, follows Grand Theft Auto VI itself — which is a different question with a different answer, and the answer is that nobody has stated one.

Two bodies of unofficial material sit behind most circulating feature lists. This site describes both and reproduces neither: writing about a leak is commentary, hosting one is infringement.
Material of that kind carries two problems at once. Authenticity is unestablished for the 2026 material, and even where footage is genuine — as in 2022 — a work-in-progress build from years before release is not a description of the shipping game.
