Two songs are on the record. Both of them are trailer music.

The soundtrack

No station named · no artist line-up · no tracklist · no number, and no range

Known — two answers

This is the complete list. Two trailers, one song each, and after that the record stops.

What plays over the first trailer?

Love Is a Long Road — Tom Petty.

Confirmed as the music of that trailer, released 4 December 2023. Whether it plays anywhere inside the game is a separate arrangement and a separate claim.

Confirmed Wikipedia (Grand Theft Auto VI) /

And the second?

Hot Together — The Pointer Sisters.

From the Trailer 2 notes, 6 May 2025. A page that lists more than these two songs is listing something nobody has published.

Not known

Three standing questions, and one of them is the seam where a sourced fact turns into an unsourced one.

What is on the radio?

Nothing. That blank has survived a great deal of first-party material: the pre-order announcement, the edition breakdown and two trailers with their own notes have all been published, and not one of them names a station. An omission that consistent is worth reporting as its own finding.

We publish no number and no range either. A figure could only be produced by extrapolating from earlier games in the series, which is an argument from precedent rather than evidence about this game. Precedent is also what made a 2025 release look settled, and that window moved twice.

Do those two songs play in the game?

The distinction matters more here than anywhere else on this site, because it is the seam where a sourced fact turns into an unsourced one. A song licensed to cut a trailer is licensed for that trailer. Whether it also plays on a station inside the game is a separate arrangement, and nothing has been said about either song’s status in the shipped product.

It would be unsurprising if both appeared. Unsurprising is not confirmed, and this site does not print the two the same way.

Are any stations coming back?

Lists of stations said to be returning from earlier games circulate widely, and some are detailed enough to look like a leaked document. None of them is attributable to anyone who would know.

This page deliberately prints no station name at all. A name published here as unconfirmed would be quoted back elsewhere without the qualifier attached, which is the mechanism by which most of the tracklists in circulation came to exist.

Long artist lists — often dozens of names, sometimes with station assignments attached — circulate steadily and are frequently republished as confirmed. We have found no attributable source behind any of them, so none is reproduced here, not even under a rumoured grade. A rumoured grade records a claim that is widely repeated and traceable to something; a list with no origin at all is not a claim, it is a guess with a layout.

There are three realistic routes to a tracklist, and only three. Rockstar publishes a soundtrack page or an artist list of its own. A storefront listing exposes licensing metadata. Or the game ships on 19 November 2026 and the credits settle it. Nothing before those is a source.

The next scheduled first-party material is the Extended Look, and its contents have not been described. If it carries music, that music becomes confirmed as material used in that showing — and, on the same reasoning as above, still not confirmed as in-game radio. This page will be updated against whatever is actually shown, and against nothing else.

What was established by the second trailer is broken down at Trailer 2, frame by frame; the showing itself is covered at the Netflix Extended Look. For what has genuinely been shown of the game beyond its music, see gameplay, and for the city the soundtrack is expected to play over, Vice City.
